Passion

Via het hetftige zieklog van Lens (Maarten's Journey) kwam ik bij een Amerikaanse professor, Randy Pausch. Hij is (net als Lens) het slachtoffer van een gezwel, in zijn geval dodelijk. Bij Lens is dat gelukkig anders.
Randy vertelt in twee mooie keynote speeches over wat je zou moeten willen bereiken:

1. alles wat je als kind al wilde (childhood dreams)
2. en iets waar je passie in ligt (passion)

En even een een kleine quote uit de tweede, wie weet als inspiratie voor een POP (Persoonlijk Ontwikkelings Plan) voor volgend jaar ?!?

… Find your passion and follow it. And if there is anything I have learned in my life, you will not find that passion in things and you will not find that passion in money. Because the more things and the more money you have, the more you will just look around and use that as the metric. There will always be someone with more. So your passion must come from the things you feel from the inside…
